Velocity Commercial Cutter Deck - Adjustable front cutter deck baffle allows the deck to be customized to individual cutting conditions. Up to seven different settings are able to handle grass from tall and wiry to thick and lush.  Minimal blowout is beneficial for dry leaf mulching and pickup.  - 3-1/2" or 3-3/4" Position: for very tall, wiry or tough to-cut grass- 4" (factory setting), 4-1/4" or 4-1/2" Position:  for general purpose cutting, gives the best mix of cutting performance in all types of grass- 4-3/4" or 5-1/4" Position: enhance fall cutting (leaf pickup) and reduce cutter deck "blowout". The Velocity Plus & Advantage cutter decks each feature a voluminous cutting chamber and an extra wide discharge opening for maximum discharge velocity, plus a beautiful cut. Front baffle chamber allows grass to stand up before meeting the cutter blades for a clean, finished cut, even in tough cutting conditions. Virtually eliminates stringers, delivering a clean, finished, professional look. Flying debris and "blowout" is greatly minimized thanks to the front baffle system.
